Thanks to all for your inspiring discussion after our presentation. We will comment the major statements and questions in the following:
1. The impact of a shock We absolutely agree with the colleague that a shock might have been another interesting determinant for our research model but as we were constrained in terms of page size we solely focused on the major constructs of IT turnover. Nevertheless we also gathered the data for a potential shock in both years and will test for it in future research approaches.
2. What happened specifically in that year between June 2008 and July 2008? Although the subprime crisis in the US started earlier, the German people perceived the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers on September 22, 2008 as the starting point of the global economic crisis and as we collected data in Germany we were especially interested how this event affected German IT workers' perceptions.
3. Narrow focus from 2008 to 2009 We certainly agree here with the colleague therefore we will collect data in 2010 as well to enhance our understanding and the significance of the results.
